KOL & Community Specialist (Nigeria Based)
As a KOL & Community Specialist, you will be responsible for building, managing, and scaling Free Fire’s KOL and player community ecosystem in SSA Region, with a strong focus on local relevance, grassroots growth, and sustainable engagement. The role acts as the bridge between players, creators, and the publishing team, ensuring that community sentiment, creator feedback, and cultural insights are translated into effective campaigns and long-term community strategies.

- Identify, recruit, and manage SSA KOLs across tiers (nano, micro, mid-tier), with a focus on gaming, youth culture, and entertainment.
- Plan and execute creator-led campaigns (online and offline), aligned with local preferences
- Own community platforms (Facebook, WhatsApp, Discord, etc.), ensuring healthy engagement, moderation, and growth.
- Work closely with marketing and publishing teams to localize campaigns based on SSA player behavior and cultural trends.
- Track and analyze community and KOL performance (engagement, reach, sentiment), and provide actionable insights.
- Support offline community initiatives (local tournaments, viewing parties, campus or cybercafé activations) where relevant.
- Act as the voice of the SSA community, surfacing key feedback, issues, and opportunities to regional stakeholders.
- Build long-term relationships with creators and community leaders to ensure retention and loyalty, not just one-off activations
CAREERS__REQUIRE_TITLE
- 1–3 years of experience in community management, influencer/KOL management, or social media, preferably in gaming or youth-driven industries.
- Strong understanding of the SSA digital and creator ecosystem (Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, Instagram).
- Excellent communication skills; able to work confidently with creators, agencies, and internal teams.
- Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple creators and campaigns simultaneously.
- Data-aware mindset: comfortable tracking performance metrics and drawing insights.
- Self-driven, hands-on, and comfortable operating in a fast-changing environment.
- Strong cultural sensitivity and local market intuition.
- Fluent in English; understanding of local slang/culture is a strong advantage.
- Willing to work remotely in Nigeria, with 6 months employment contract
